QR Menu Manager turns WordPress and WooCommerce into a restaurant workspace — branches, menus, table QR codes and direct ordering, without marketplace commissions.

Coming soon to WordPress.org · Fair-code · Sustainable Use License 1.1 · Made by Dika · contact@qrcodemenu.co.uk

## From an empty site to your first order in four steps

1. **Create a branch** — Add one location or many. Each branch keeps its own menu, prices and staff.
2. **Build the menu** — Use your WooCommerce products with categories, portions, options and modifier groups.
3. **Print table QR codes** — Every table gets a unique, permanent link. Reprint the sticker — the link stays the same.
4. **Take orders at the table** — Guests scan, order and pay. The table is attached to the order automatically.

## Built for how restaurants actually work

- **Multi-branch management** — Branch-specific menus, product visibility, prices, taxes and payment methods.
- **WooCommerce-native menu** — Products, cart, checkout and orders stay in WooCommerce. Nothing is locked away.
- **Table QR links** — Timed QR sessions keep the branch and table context from scan to checkout.
- **Portions and modifiers** — Sizes, options, extras and attribute groups for every dish.
- **Food-first checkout** — Mini cart, side cart, order tracking and an account page shaped for food ordering.
- **Customers and coupons** — Customer profiles, order history, coupons and campaign tools.
- **Branch profile pages** — A public page for every location with its menu, details and reviews.
- **Staff roles** — Kitchen, waiter, cashier and courier roles with server-side permissions.
- **Import and export** — Move your menu in and out with CSV files from any spreadsheet. Your data stays portable.

## One panel, the right view for every role

Staff work in the QR Menu Manager panel without ever seeing the WordPress admin. Permissions are enforced on the server, not just by hiding buttons.

- **Manager** — Full control over every branch
- **Assistant manager** — Menus, tables, orders and staff
- **Kitchen** — Incoming orders and preparation
- **Waiter** — Tables, service and order status
- **Cashier** — Payments and closing orders
- **Courier** — Delivery orders

## A direct channel that belongs to you

Marketplaces can help with discovery. Your own QR menu brings margin, data and control back to the restaurant.

| | Marketplace | QR Menu Manager |

## Install it like any WordPress plugin

1. Upload the plugin zip under Plugins → Add New.
2. Activate QR Menu Manager, plus WooCommerce for ordering.
3. Create your first branch, tables and menu in the panel.
4. Download the table QR codes and print them.

**Requirements:** WordPress 6.5+ · PHP 8.1+ · MySQL 8.0+ / MariaDB 10.5+ · WooCommerce 8.8+ (for ordering)

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is a soft dependency. The plugin never breaks without it, but products, cart, checkout and orders need WooCommerce to be active.

### What do guests need to order?

Only a phone camera. Guests scan the table QR code and the menu opens in the browser — no app to download.

### Do the QR codes change when I update the menu?

No. Every table has a permanent link. Change dishes, prices or photos and guests see the updated menu immediately on the same QR code.

### How do guests pay?

Payments run through WooCommerce, so you can use any WooCommerce payment gateway and choose different methods per branch.

### Can I run several branches?

Yes. Each branch can have its own menu, prices, taxes, payment methods and staff.

### Can I import my existing menu?

Yes. Import and export products as CSV files, for example saved from Excel or Google Sheets, to bring your current menu in and take your data out at any time.

### Do staff need access to the WordPress admin?

No. Staff log in to the QR Menu Manager panel and only see what their role allows: kitchen, waiter, cashier, courier or manager.

### Does it work with my theme?

Yes. Public pages use your theme’s header and footer, and Elementor is supported.

### Where is customer data stored?

In your own WordPress database. Nothing is sent to a third party unless you set it up.

### Is it free?

Yes, for your own restaurant or restaurant group. There are no license fees and no per-order commissions. Optional hosted automation and AI services may come later; the core stays useful on its own.

### Is QR Menu Manager open source?

It is fair-code: the full source code is available to read, self-host and modify for your own business under the Sustainable Use License 1.1. It is not an OSI-approved open-source license, because reselling or hosting it for others needs a commercial agreement.

### Can my agency install it for clients?

Paid installs, client projects, white-label packages and SaaS hosting need a separate written commercial agreement. Contact us and we will find a model that fits.

### How do I get help?

Email us at contact@qrcodemenu.co.uk for setup questions, bug reports or a commercial license.
